Your device most likely supports eSIM
The browser cannot detect regional model variants or carrier lock status. Please confirm on your phone's "Settings" page (takes about 30 seconds).
- Open "Settings" > "Cellular" (or "Mobile Network")
- Tap "Add eSIM" or "Add Cellular Plan"
- If this option appears, your iPhone definitely supports eSIM
- Samsung: "Settings" > "Connections" > "SIM manager" — check for an "Add eSIM" option
- Pixel / others: "Settings" > "Network & internet" > "SIMs" — check whether "Download a SIM" is available
- Universal: "Settings" > "About phone" — check whether an EID (32-digit number) is shown
Which screen did you see?
Your Device May Not Support eSIM
Based on the detection results, your current device may not support eSIM functionality. We recommend referring to the manual check method below for further confirmation.
Unable to Determine Your Device eSIM Compatibility
We cannot fully confirm your device compatibility. We suggest using the manual check method below (dial *#06#) for further confirmation.
How to Manually Check if Your Phone Supports eSIM
The following methods are ordered by accuracy from highest to lowest. We recommend trying Method 1 first.
Method 1: Confirm on your phone's "Settings" page
This is the most accurate method. If the system actually offers an "Add eSIM" option, your device supports eSIM in both hardware and software and is not carrier-locked.
Why is this the most accurate? It directly reflects the system's actual capability and automatically accounts for all restrictions — hardware, regional model, software locks, and carrier locks.
Method 2: Dial *#06# to view the EID number
On your phone's dialer, enter *#06#. If an "EID" field (32 digits) appears on screen, the hardware has an eSIM chip.
Dialing *#06# on an iPhone usually only shows the IMEI, not the EID. iPhone users should use Method 1 instead.
Some Mainland China Android variants show an EID, yet system software locks still prevent eSIM use.
Apple iPhone eSIM Support Guide
Mainland China Version
All models from Mainland China starting from iPhone XS do not support eSIM and instead feature a dual physical SIM card design. If you need to use eSIM, it is recommended to use iPhone versions from other regions.
Hong Kong & Macau Version
Most flagship models (including standard, Pro, Pro Max, and Plus models from the iPhone 11 to iPhone 15 series) feature a dual physical SIM card design and do not support eSIM.
HK/Macau Exception Models (eSIM Supported)
The following Hong Kong and Macau models feature a single physical SIM + eSIM design and support eSIM functionality: iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation), iPhone 12 mini, and iPhone 13 mini.
Other International Versions
International versions of iPhone starting from iPhone XS (2018) all support eSIM functionality. US models from iPhone 14 and newer have already removed the physical SIM card slot, adopting eSIM entirely.
